About Us

H.E.L.P Ministries ts currently feeding 5000 starving school children and 1000 unemployed adults with nourishing soup and bread on a daily basis in Cape Town, South Africa. We cook 44×34 litre pots (400 gallons) of soup per day and deliver it to 9 primary schools where the teachers and learners get involved by distributing the soup to the children in the classrooms. The children come from poor homes to school without having had anything to eat. As a result they are struggling to learn efficiently. The mug of soup we feed them is made of vegetables, beans as a protein base and meat products, providing the children with vital nutrients.

A MODEL

Our soup kitchen also serves as a model to which persons can come and learn from us how we go about feeding 6000 people so that they can return to the community they come from and establish similar soup kitchens. Participants of the H.E.L.P. Ministries International College here in Cape Town will receive hands-on practical training in our soup kitchen and our goal is that millions of poor children eventually be fed around the world.
