Calling the Whole Church to take the Whole Gospel to the Whole World
gives us an opportunity to express our concern for the poor. H.E.L.P. Ministries is committed to feed 5,000 school children and 1,000 unemployed adults with soup and bread on a daily basis. Our soup kitchen has the facility to cook 44x 34 litre pots of soup every day(400 gallons of soup).
at the soup kitchen at 1pm every day where the unemployed are fed;
in the schools where the learners and teachers assist with the distribution right into the classroom;
in the Kalksteenfontein community where we started the soup kitchen in 1990 by cooking two pots of soup and distributing it once a week. The two pots have now grown to 44 x 34 litre pots of soup(400 gallons of soup) and the soup is distributed to 5,000 school children and 1,000 unemployed adults on a daily basis. In the Kalsteenfontein community the soup is distributed in nine streets.
In Valhalla Park the soup is distributed in two informal settlements
